That was a ticky tack call to begin with. Not saying there was no foul, but call could have gone either way, and those calls usually don't get called with 1.6 seconds remaining. Kid got his shot off, if it goes in, he wins. If it doesn't, his team loses. No need to let free throws decide the game on a borderline foul call in the closing seconds.

If he was as sure it was a foul as you seem to be, then it was the right call. He had a better vantage point than I did watching on TV, but to me it looked like one of those involving a tiny guard penetrating against a big man where it's easy to call a foul even if none were committed just based on the size of each player.
On TV, I didn't see anything I would have said was a definite foul. Again though, he had the better vantage point so I can only hope he saw something I didn't.
