Stayed at Grand for honeymoon also. All inclusive is the way to go.

You never need your wallet unless you want to buy some excursions on the spot.

Tip: plan it all out ahead of time. Schedule everything when you book. That way you can follow the itinerary rather than waste time or getting sucked into a sales pitch

There are folks that walk the beach trying to sell excursions. I didn't find it to be too pushy.if you say no they tend to leave you be .

Excursion wise: highly suggest the hot springs /mud bath... It's unique and fun... Also suggest the booze cruise mainly for the sunset and riding the boat... Snorkeling was pretty good as well

I think there was one excursion that incorporated the springs, snorkel and sight seeing.

The restaurants are pretty decent at the resort. You can always hop a shuttle to go onto town or another resort , but we never did.

If you stay at the Grand there is a park nearby that's a few bucks to enter.do it .near stuff and old buildings. Also old Fort you can hike to.

So when booking we can book the itinerary upfront? Also any deep sea fishing excursions? As we are avid fishing couple..

We were thinking of the over water bungalows...

Much thanks to all in this thread...
