Germany could use some of that warrior spirit now in it's losing battle against the barbaric hordes it's facing now.

Unfortunately the guilt that was heaped upon the German people (not wholly undeserved of course) assured that they would be led by quisling, weak leaders for generations. They've been so cucked for so long that they are (collectively) absolutely terrified of anything the least bit nationalistic. And anyone who shows support for such ideas publicly is punished.
