I guess more people will be catching an Uber or a Lyft.

But seriously, I think this is a bit draconian. .05 is barely noticeable and you could reach that level of intoxication without drinking casually. I not sure of the specifics, but certain foods can cause that level.

Yeah. Plus they have terrible hours, M-F 8-5. If you buy beer from a convenience store it can only be 3.2% max.
A friend came to visit from there and got hammered fairly quickly.

The bill now goes to the Senate for consideration.

If HB155 becomes law, it would take effect Dec. 30, 2018, just in time for next year's New Year's Eve weekend.

There should be a sliding scale with penalties increasing the higher the BAC is, rather than a black and white judgment.

More cars on the road, smaller roads, better access to public transport. Europe is not the same as the US

Doubtful that it passes.

However, it is driven a little bit by hesitation out of staters, like me, relocating here who are not LDS.

But Thurston said a .05 limit equals the consumption of two-thirds of a bottle of wine, three shots or six beers.

From the article. That is some BS. .05 is more like two beers.

This is a good idea. Kids these days can't handle their liquor.

I think that open container should be legal if you're below .05
