Jalen and Chauncey did the same during NBA Countdown.
I swear next thing you know some soft player is gonna go after Ernie for his Neat-O-Stat of the Night (Sponsered byyyy No one)

JAVALE McGee is tired of being roasted by Shaq and TNT
Shaq is one of the most immature & insecure athletes I've ever scene.
He burned bridges in Orlando/ could not get along with Penny & was envious.
Did the same in L.A & also publicly cursed at Dr Buss sitting courtside demanding that he " pay me my F'ing money" over a contract dispute.
Burned bridges in Miami with public fueds with Pat Riley & DWade.
Burned bridges in Phoenix.

Shaq does pick on him in the sense that sometimes Javale will do stuff that only shows up on there because he did it. But he should just say "I'm on a great team now, I'm not that guy anymore" rather than crying about it.

I bet ESPN told them to take this position so they can bash TNT who kills them in NBA coverage.
TNT may need to do some reevaluating.
Do they want a peanut gallery who heckles the product( Mystery Science Theatre like) or give insightful yet entertaining Basketball analysis.
I'm one of the biggest fans of old school ball & players ,but no need to publicly / constantly bash todays product( Barkley with his " Sissy Basketball" & Shaq's immaturity & so on).

The Inside the NBA crew have been doing this for 17 years...they know what they're doing. Meanwhile ESPN. Gotta find a new crew every single year and steal TNT's style

I think Shaq has gotten to the point where it is semi bullying McGee, and someone should have stepped in earlier. i think at some point the NBA needs to have some sense of unity.
McGee should have escalated it more quietly behind the scenes than a public outburst. TNT is also encouraging Shaq's behavior.
Now Kerr and the Warriors need to shut the frick up. Shaq's career is legendary and he has done more for the league than anyone in that weak minded organization. It is really easy to fricking hate the Warriors organization and all of their players.

But that didn't happen until Javale started complaining about it. Before it was when Javale did something stupid, which was a quite frequent. After Javale challenged him it's whenever Javale misses a shot.

I can understand KD having his teammates back. This is too much though. Trying to say "you have flaws too." McGee is a scrub with a superstar's body. Guy could've been dominant if he wanted, prototypical underachiever. I think that's part of the reason Shaq is on him so much. If he was just a normal scrub, Shaq wouldn't even know him.
KD saying Shaq was just bigger than everyone else, that's ridiculous. He should just tell his boy McGee to get in the gym and work on being better. Meanwhile he needs to get a chip before trying to shite on Shaq. Neither of them have any room to talk.

How dare they defend their teammate. Shaq's contributions to the league don't entitle him to persistently rag on the guy.
Edit: nvm I read the rest of their comments

Durant must be one of those idiots that think Bryant carried Shaq to championships eventhough Shaq has 3 Finals MVPs and was probably most dominant center of all-time that people created hack-a-shaq and changed the rules.

I admitted Shaq and TNT were wrong; however, don't try to act like the league today wasn't drastically improved by the career of Shaq.

Here's my thing, why haven't guys like Harden, who's been on there just as much as McGee, gone after Shaq?
Otto Porter has been a regular too

That may depend on whether or not there are repeat winners of that who are rustled by it obviously.

I don't have a problem with them cutting up and I like Inside the NBA.
I think it is a fine line where it is laughing with someone and then just laughing at someone. A certain point of laughing at someone leads to bullying.
I do think it is funny that it is the media caught up in this "bullying" issue. It all depends on who is bullying ifbit matters or not to some of these media types.

Honestly, these days, Javale could sue for slander and probably win. Not that I want this to stop or anything.
It wouldn't surprise me if he showed up at the wrong courtroom.

It's not just shaq, its the whole crew but thats what makes it my favorite sports team on the air. They say whats on their mind and don't care, why should a grown man like shaq have to step back from any comments. If javale mcgee has his feelings hurt, he can go him and cry about it while making 7 figures and playing on the best team in the league. Charles Barkley apologizing for how awful the knicks are, calling san antonio women fat, and the entire team constantly cracking jokes about the awful players and teams is hilarious. Jeff Van Gundy is the only guy at ESPN who even semi does the same. What do you want more jemele hill saying trash like "black dont crack" which she did say when they were discussing the apparent youthful look of an african american woman during sportscenter she literally said "i know black dont crack but damn".....you want more ethnocentric jokes like that bc thats what sportscenter primetime has become.

The players have been firing back for years but nobody takes it as seriously as javale, here's an interview from mcgrady back during his time with the rockets and he said the only advice he wants from chuck is about cupcakes after chuck bashed the rockets all pregame and said mcgrady doesnt make his teammates better and takes bad shots.
