Plus North Texas had cracked the to 20 before Jones was the head coach so he didn't have unpresidented success there either. He was hired for one reason, because he's Dale and Collis's buddy that's it. You don't hire a mid-major coach who's never won a tourneyment game or been ranked in 12 years of coaching and convince ppl you did it based on merit.
