I don't know all of the rules, so that's why I ask.

It seems asinine to force a split if the only extra hurdle the "average" public has relative to a private is the public school may need the kid/family to move into the school's zone. If the family is motivated to pick a high school for athletics, then relocating is no issue.

To your point, the split is all about an easier chance to win and not at all about a fair chance to win.

I am totally against the split in every which way. It is a joke.

I will tell you that I know for certain that a certain player that played at (________) would travel from farmerville every morning to get to (_______) after "transferring" into their "zone". This was back in 97' and 98'.

How do I know this for certain? The head football coach at a very, very, very prominent private school here in Monroe told me in his office directly. He said he would go outside every morning just about and wave at the kid and his grandma as they drove by the school headed to the other school he "transferred" to. I won't use school names here, but both these schools are champions in football many times over.

This was a transfer from private to public. The whole entire split is a farce directly on it's face. It is an illusion, a lie. It is a joke.

I grew up around all this stuff for years having played with and coached by players and coaches around the North Louisiana area who were friends. Both private and public have "transfers" and both do whatever it takes to get an edge.

And, I do not blame them one bit. The rules are dumb. A family should have the freedom of choice to send their kid wherever they so choose to send them. The rules aren't pure or morally motivated at all.

To your point, I contend that it is much easier to relocate than allocate 30,000 plus dollars to tuition over four years.

So how many students at a private/parochial school had to sell their home and move to attend said school. Belittling this point doesn't support your argument imo.
