This statement makes no sense. If the NCAA has always handled these situations this way, the precedent for recruits has also already been set.

LL had a choice. Take the cash, go somewhere else (or don't), move on w your life. Why did he talk? He's from Mississippi. OM nation might make his life miserable for years, it still might be very shortsighted. NCAA can't stop fans from ostracizing him or worse.

Hypothetical:
5 LSU recruits get paid by LSU boosters, they go elsewhere, NCAA gives them immunity, LSU gets hammered. These kids are smart right? What if every program/recruit did this?

Its interesting you referenced LE. You think LSU nation embraces him w open arms? You think he's glad he talked all those years ago?
