Yeah. It's over the top.

But the story is written to engender sympathy based on the deportation. Lots of people commit suicide every day. It doesn't say much about anything except their own personal mental state.

So is your opinion on the matter...

I want the country to enforce laws against lots of things (actually not that many things, but you get my meaning). That doesn't mean I'm going to celebrate when someone commits suicide in prison.

Neither am I.

But, that was his decision.

Yep truth, which is what should have been ridiculed and not the death of the man.

I'm not happy about this, but it doesn't change my position. Emotion has to have its place under reason.

He had been deported 3 times. Not sure he just wound up here by "mistake".

He should not have been here. That's what a lax immigration policy and shitty border security does. It gets people killed.

Its the celebration of someone's despair and death over politics. Its subhuman and disgusting.

And trying to manufacture support for a political position by using his death as propaganda is almost (but not quite) as disgusting.

It's just part of the social trash heap we've allowed to happen. It says more about people posting.

I don't think it does. Everyone here is removed from actualizing this man as an individual. They jump straight to politics, as well they might. My prayers and sympathies mean nothing to this man, now.

Sure. Kinda. But there's a rush to be more edgy and more "frick-it-all" than the previous poster in the thread. And it's not good for the soul in the long run.

Oh, good heavens.

That's the dumbest comment I've read in awhile.
