I had a similar issue on my F40, except mine went into limp mode after 20-30 mins running. Bulb felt empty.
I changed tank lid, and fuel line.
Still happened, took it to the shop they changed a recalled connection from fuel line to motor.
Happened again took it back to shop...
They got stranded in the vermilion testing it out :) :)
Finally changed the fuel pump, and have never looked back.

So the problem I'm seeing is that the line from the tank to the motor goes up in the hull so I can't seemingly get to it without pulling the whole thing. Here's what I'm working with.
