joe dean Dixie camp sold me
Possessing a vast knowledge of summer camp operations, Cordaro has worked with some of college basketball's most knowledgeable coaches after working at The University of Miami (Fla.), Arizona, UAB, Birmingham-Southern, New Orleans, Texas, Middle Tennessee, LSU and Joe Dean, Jr.'s Dixie Basketball Camp. Each summer Cordaro conducts his own basketball camp in his hometown of Ruston. Over the course of ten years he's taught more than 400 campers the finer points of the game as well as life lessons.

I came here to post this link. This is what we need this guy is a ball of fire. Read at the bottom of page and see who he helped recruit while he was in Baton Rouge.

What he is doing would be impressive at any level but LSU A hoops and the opponents is about like high school level of hoops.
I would like to see him have success at a LA Tech type school like White did and then LSU could take a chance on someone like that.

Was at LSUA during Cordaro's first 2 years and I don't believe they've lost a home game with him as the head coach. While unlikely, it'd be pretty cool to see him get a chance to coach LSU and bring that same energy he has at LSUA.

Larry is a great coach and his dedication to his players is unbelievable. He really has a well run program. He recruits really well and has gotten some D1 players on his team. With his success I Unfortunately don't think he will not be at LSUA much longer. He had a few looks last year from bigger programs. It will be interesting to see how his coaching and mentoring style translates to a large school and having to deal with the politics.

In this "anybody but JJ" atmosphere, we could do a helluva lot worse than taking a chance on Cordaro.

this guy could do amazing things at LSU.. the BBall program is in such a bad place right now they could take a flyer like this and try it out for a few years.. at 5'5 you don't get to play college ball unless you really know the game.. also would be great at handling the politics.. dude can work a room
