Pedophilia is the exclusive attraction by an adult (usually male) to a
pre-pubescent child. It is NOT the same thing as an adult attracted to an adolescent who has passed puberty.
Anecdotally, most of the gay men I have treated over the last 20+ years were brought into their sexuality by an older (by at least 5 years on average) gay male. Gay adolescent males do not tend to play grabass in the backseat of the car like other teenagers do.
None of this defends pedophilia. Educate yourself.
