The majority wants equal rights for all Americans, the majority wants fair trade, the majority wants lower taxes, the majority wants a strong national defense, the majority wants etc. etc.

When the left finally realizes that identity politics is a losing strategy, it'll be to late. They've gone to far left. The right has pushed their right wing out and moved away from social issues which are a total loser for the right.

If you had a true fiscal conservative and social liberal that would unabashedly pronounce those two positions, he or she would be unstoppable if they ran a halfway decent campaign.
