It's Matt McCall from UT Chattanooga

I'm not quite sure why people are so high on him. He stepped into a good foundation built by Will Wade, who left for VCU when Smart went to Texas.

If McCall is a candidate, why not go after Will Wade? Wade is actually younger than McCall AND is the more accomplished coach with skins on the wall at two programs, UTC and VCU. Wade is on the verge of finishing 1st in the A-10 for the second straight season, something even Shaka Smart didn't do in the two years before he became Texas' HC

Wade would obviously be tougher to get because VCU is a much better job than UTC, but if you're shaking that tree, go after Wade first

Mullen has been a more consistent winner than Stans.

I mean, did you just pull that out of thin air?

there's absolutely nothing about comparing their two resumes that gives any indication that Dan mullen has been more successful in football than stans in basketball. None.

lso hiring a head coach for one player is fricking stupid.

It isn't if we hire a proven HC, the one players is big and good, and the new HC can convince the eligible players to return. We could be a pretty good team next year if that happened.

I could put LSU on the map like they were Villanova playing in Philadelphia.

I guarantee it.

That's $1 million upfront. TIA.

You're too fricking weird for the job, Otto.

Now shut the frick up.

Wouldn't give the name but says the coach states that he could put LSU on the same level as Florida.

Anyone know who he is talking about?

Knowing the leaks around here they are probably talking about Jimbo Fisher... or Jon Gruden.

The LSU mens BB job is a good job but it is going to take a person that wants it and will be given some time to fix it because it is a mess right now.

Alt, totally agree and have always said this. It's definitely worth the ask, but with our budget and with his program where it is, I was just being a realist.

I'm pretty sure Ott said he wasn't going to name the coach bc he currently was coaching a team that would most likely be making the tourney

I want to vomit every time I see Johnny Jones right jow. Cant be worse, but yeah, Stansbury and Gottfried don't excite me. Better than what we have today though.
