Celtics have right to swap 1st round pick positions with Nets this year and they own the Nets 1st rounder next year too...both from the Garnett/Pierce trade. Seems as if they could've put together a more attractive offer if they wanted, but maybe Danny Ainge wasn't sure about being able to re-sign Cousins long term or didn't want to risk his attitude becoming a problem. Boston is setup nicely for the future with what they have now plus having a top 5 pick the next 2 years...Paul Pierce still contributing to Boston
