Love Smith, but think Slaughter has higher ceiling due to body type/power. BTW, I love having a quick fielder and great glove on first base. He will rob a few opponents of base hits this year.

D1 Baseball had Slaughter as the 20th ranked freshman and Smith at 64. LSU had 5 in the top 100.
