re: Who has the higher ceiling: Smith or Slaughter?

I liked what i saw from Slaughter this weekend. Didn't know much about him but i already knew a lot about Smith so that didn't surprise me.

Slaughter made some great saves over at first and i think we've found our 1st baseman for 2 more years barring injury.

All in all, glad they're both tigers and not tiger bait/mlb farm system.
