Like everyone has already said both are very impressive, but to me Slaughter will keep rising even after college. Smith will probably be just as good, possibly better in some aspects but all around, it will take Smith more effort to keep up IMO. Both could be all SEC possibly all american. See when you think about them in all american terms IMO, slaughter has the better chance. Either could take the other, it's still early.

I also really like that Peterson kid along with Eric Walker, Hess looks like he will need a little time but maybe he just had an off day. I like many of the offensive weapons we have like Crooms, Woley, and Templet. Esp Crooms and Woley. Would probably put one of those guys in at DH going forward.

Defense looked great but will get even better which is scary. Same goes for the offense so this could be the year. GT
