This can't be said enough.
I don't know about other countries, but in the last 30 years, the US has played economic hide and seek. The middle class are taxed for children where the poor are encouraged to have children.

Huge problem in Europe. Only the poor immigrants are having babies. Big problem in Japan too but they aren't stupid enough to import masses of poor Muslims to fill the void.
