At some point after living and dying with shite you cannot control you see that there is always another end of the world huge matchup next week while realizing nobody really gives a shite about last year's huge matchup except for the participants and their families.

This thread has had some surprisingly honest responses. I'm not quite in the same boat as OP but outside of college football there is not one sport that I can just sit down and watch any team. I try to catch just about every Saints game and a Pels game every now and then. I just don't have the time or dedication to sit down and watch 60+ NBA games or five NFL games a weekend. Nor do I really give much of a shite.
