This is a good point. I lost interest my self but with the birth of my son, I am back subscribing to MLB tv and following LSU much more closely. Not that I ever stopped following LSU, I just make it more of a priority. Not to mention I took over a set of season tickets last year, and am much more invested monetarily now.
I didn't watch a single NFL game all season until the super bowl. I found that I didn't miss anything and won't watch next year.
