Is it your stance that it is to the over all advantage of the United States as a whole to incorporate millions upon millions of low skilled, poorly educated and non-English speaking peoples into our country?

This seems to be your de facto stance.

Am I wrong?

Over all.

I'm not talking about you cherry picking anecdotal, peripheral advantages such as exploitative cheap manual labor.

I mean, I'd rather the low skill, poorly educated, English speaking Americans do these jobs at the same pay rates, but that isn't happening.

I'd prefer we massively update our immigration system with the methods that are proven to be effective.

Personally, the folks I know who immigrated here are the most grateful, most patriotic (for America), and highly moral people I have ever met. If they want to pursue the American Dream, I don't think Americans should shut that door on them. If we fix our system, we could more easily discern these types of things and help them integrate into our society.

As for language, I'd love for them to speak English. But, I also think it would be a net positive if they could help Americans learn another language, say Spanish. The proven science between speaking multiple languages and academic performance would be a boon for our country.

I don't think where you were born should determine your entire life. I prefer to judge people individually by their heart and character. There are more than a few Americans who don't deserve the same rights and freedoms as some immigrants.
