Well this makes sense. I didn't consider army playing 4 games.

Hey Mainieri, quit scheduling two different teams to come into town the same weekend. Nobody else in college baseball does that Mickey Mouse shite. So instead of playing 27 innings this weekend and using a full bullpen to get some live action, LSU is only going to plaly 23 innings.

Hey Paul...it's Army. These guys can invade a Middle East country in 110 F temperatures. If not..we have serious problems with our armed services.

Also, like another poster said, Army is not a fully "stocked" school like a SEC school or any other bigger school. Add that, along with the travel they have and it being the opening weekend, it's easy to see why they are only playing 7 innings for the double header.
What's more concerning is that a portion of our fan base will bitch about anything. It's beautiful weather, opening weekend and a double header now to kick it off. Sit back, relax and enjoy it. Baseball is now here and will rescue us from the hell that has been basketball season.
