Why not play 2 9 inning games?

Time is not a factor. Weather is going to be great. 7 inning games don't belong in college baseball. If LSU loses one of these games by 1 run I will be pissed.

With noon being a 7 inning game, there will be a gap before the 4:00 game so everyone can run home and watch the basketball game.

They almost always play 7 inning games for DH. I think its to go easy on the bullpens.

SEC series, once upon a time and for many moons, were Fri night openers and DH Saturdays -- 7 innings per pop. Call today regression; call it fate; call it luck; call it karma. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe that we were destined to play 7 inning games.

My goodness. Get over yourselves. LSU is playing two seven inning games today to help protect the players on the field. im sorry that you grown adults get shorted 4 innings the first day of the season. There will be plenty of other things for you guys to bitch about LSU and CPM to come in the next few months. Don't let the one decision he makes to protect the players throw you in a hissy.
