I'll take a mahindra over a Kubota and a john Deere any day of the week.
If you aren't opposed to used, an older ford or international can be a really good buy.
I will add, a 40 year old 50 hp AG tractor is 10x the tractor that a current 50hp tractor is.
The amount of spinning weight means much more useable torque. My old 38 hp international will run a 10ft bushhog in anything but Bahia. The newer John Deere I had wouldn't run it in clover... After 10 or more trips into the dealer to fix the front end loader, we parted ways.
I have a small mahindra now that has been bulletproof.
