I have a crown on a molar following a root canal. No issues from it. Works like a normal tooth no issues with loosening. Been about 10 years ish.
No idea of the cost (parents paid for it at the time).
No dentist but yeah if you lost a tooth completely then you would need a bridge or implant($$$) I would think.

Same here. I have no restrictions on what I eat nor have I had any problems with it.
