Given what you've shared here, Cymbalta seems a like really odd prescription, especially as a first line of treatment. I cannot stress how important it is to get a good medical workup if you haven't had one and to see a psychiatrist before discontinuing the cymbalta.

My GP started me on Lexapro and things got really bad really fast. Don't know if it was the Lexapro or what but I got in to see a psych and that's what she put me on but I didn't like her at all.

Things did get better when I started Cymbalta but I don't know if it was more of getting off Lexapro or just hitting rock bottom and bouncing back or if it was the new meds.

But yea I don't want to go back to that psych at all.
