I specifically remember him using 1 during an 8-0 Ole Miss run but in the second half I guess he could have used them more. Still, I'd be much much more pissed about him allowing this team to not cycle the ball thru Blakeney all second half than his use (or lack-thereof) of timeouts.

Yeah, Blakeny was having a career night and the last 10 minutes or so he's like the invisible man.

Well in the last 6 minutes of a close game that's when you call a timeout (we had 3 of them left) and say in the huddle, "Hey Rookies, you see this guy sitting right here? This is Antonio. He has 29 points tonight. None of you need to take a shot until he has touched the ball. If the defense focuses completely on him, he might be able to pass it to you when you are wide open and then you can shoot. But do not shoot until he has had a chance to touch the ball."

Or, if you had a set offense you could just ask the guys to work through the offense, but Johnny really doesn't have a set of cuts and passes that many would consider an offensive set.
