haha, this is a concern. I've previously ridden a 1000 cc V-Storm which is a very comfortable bike. I literally just picked up a smaller 750cc Moto Guzzi when I received orders to move this summer. Will be more of an adventure riding the Guzzi.

My brother can put your bike on his flatbed and save you the trip.

He crisscrosses the country on a regular basis.

See if you can find an old used seat for it and get Russell Day Long to convert it.

I have two seats for my touring bike. One for riding around town and the RDL. The RDL design is by far the best seat I have ever sat on. However you do lose some maneuverability, so I don't use it when I go play in the mountains.
