Why do we need a completely different health service for people who were in the armed forces?
my GP has no expertise with PTSD. the little PT office in my town can't serve a guy with no legs or one leg.the osteopath has the right credentials but spent his whole time in the Air Force preparing for nuclear disaster and biological warfare.

The VA doesn't do a good job with this either.

Well, these "little towns" don't have VA services in them either. They always have to travel to VA hospitals that can serve them.

The VA is a joke. I can always tell those that have never spent a minute in one or those that defend them because they work for the VA

Because they don't need to. All of those people go to the VA. If the VA were to close, where do you think all of the doctors and nurses would go?

There are many specialties way more complicated than PTSD that regular hospitals handle.
