I hope you are just being lazy and didn't intend to infer that all illegal immigrants are from Mexico or that all illegal immigrants of Hispanic origin are "Mexican." In fact in recent years, more immigrants from Mexico have returned home than have entered the US.

This thread is about La. My post was about NW La. The Hispanic people here are about 100% Mexican. And they are rare. If you look at the ethnic breakdown of the school system in Caddo/Bossier parishes the 'Hispanic' rate is about 5% and they don't break that down to 'illegals'. That's probably much less than 1%.
Now, I'd be happy to hear about your non lazy description of the illegal problem in South La.
