Have had a ranger 900 for three years now like it a lot. Knock on wood not an issue yet...

I talked to 7-10 Ranger owners , a couple of hard core mudders had belt issues . A good friend has a 2010 (Ranger 800) , never changed a belt . Same guy bought a newer Ranger - no issues.
