Yep this is true. 5 Indian tribes lay claim to the area as well, and they are the ones that actually petitioned Obama to used the Antiquities act and declare a section of public land a national monument. A lot the public applauded this, but politics got in the way and started a fight. Utah's republican lawmakers vowed to undo the antiquities act, and here we are today screaming at town hall meetings.

That is the thing I don't get. Many Republican law makers are behind these things and their constituents are NOT.


Trump is a Pro-Public land guy. This is very good for you and I. Donald Jr. is behind his reasoning for this.


The Republicans are using "States rights" as their argument so that when other issues come up that truly do fall under states rights, they'll have a backing. It's a sad political puppet
