Everyone in the world knew giving Tristan Thompson that contract was a horrible move. But they did it because they have no backbone. Lebron was never going to leave over Tristan Thompson.

Tristan Thompson is a huge part of why Cleveland can beat the Warriors.

The only reason you wouldn't do the swap is the fact Love is four years younger; however, they obviously need to go all in until Lebron starts breaking down.

Looking at the new NBA and contracts being given out, is it really THAT terrible?

Also, he was a key piece in the Finals against the Warriors. I'm not saying he's an absolute difference maker, but in a game 7 that is tied in the final minute, I think it's fair to say they may not win that series without him.
