at the same time, you have to wonder what WAS offered for those guys whom everyone knew would be free agents anyways.. why would you trade away assets for guys that have made it clear they intend to test free agency ..

Supposedly they had 2 offers of 2018 1sts for Ryno and Demps thought Ryno's Bird Rights were more valuable than a future late 1st.
