I would gladly trade a welfare state for borders that are not as porous. You can have an immigration policy that takes in refugees and a welfare state in a global socialized economy.

Are you saying we don't take in refugees? Because that's a lie.
We took in 892 two days after the EO. We take in refugees all the time and will continue to.
