I've seen some of you posting Bill Clinton's comments on this from the 90's, this is interesting as well. They both sound like liberals.

Funny how a conservative like Ronald Reagan was in favor of free trade, free flow of labor, and free flow of capital unlike Trump.

I will never understand this deification of Reagan that the left seems to impose on the right.

The man was a great President, but he wasn't perfect...obviously there are policies and positions that we (on the right) don't agree with, just as there are policies and positions WJC took which we do agree with.

Virtually every conservative thinker since the 90s has said this was Reagan's greatest frick up. It was a political move that was a giant miscalculation on his part. (there are inside information articles that talk about the political thinking behind the move, fyi)

He just turned out to be wrong, big time.

I see it the opposite way. They were conservatives speaking for the interests of our country first. Back in my day Communists built walls.
