Quick synopsis: in 2011, the Obama administration, after arresting two suspected terrorists in Bowling Gren, KY, significantly slowed down processing travel visas from Iraq. This did not stop all immigration from Iraq, and did not stop existing visa holders from coming to the country. Also, visas were still processed during this time, just significantly slowed.
So, the Obama slowdown did not ban immigration as does this one.

The difference in me and Conway is I unintentionally misidentified Bannon. Conway, tried to float the "massacre" story to her base but was caught - so she had to fess fess up. She would have let it marinate in kook-ville had she not been caught immediately....thereby supporting the argument of banning Muslims.
I'm sure you'll ask "how do you know for sure" I don't. But she doesn't get the benefit of doubt, given her "alternate facts" explanation among dozens of other lies from the Trump admin thus far. Why would anyone believe anything they say?

This is going to backfire. Instead of a "ban", he'll just make the vetting so strict, it will now take a miracle to get thru vetting, and will NOW actually stop normal good people from coming.
