here's a hint. look at the tackle numbers.

dudes want to play and play early.

and when their scoring defense improved at the end of the season, there was Mike Lee putting up his best tackle games of the season, and getting a pick in an overtime win over Texas

They can go to a program that isn't a complete joke and play early.

Kansas has won 7 games the last 5 seasons. The coach they committed to, who might not be their after year 3, has won 2 of them in 2 seasons.

Kansas has 1 player drafted higher than the 5th round since 2010 draft (that's 2009 college season). They have had 7 players drafted between 2010-2016 drafts, getting zero drafted in 11, 12, 14, and 16.

They have 12 players drafted since the 2005 draft (2004 college season), They have 1 first rounder, 3 4th rounders, and the rest 5th or worse.

Mike Lee from NOLA Landry-Walker had a tremendous season at KU as a Freshman in 2016. I think that he totaled 77 tackles despite not playing in the first 2 games. He's one heck of a hitter - look at this video of the hit of the year;

That hit is just one of the 77 reasons he made the All-America Freshmen team. The fact that he played in 10 games as Safety, most of them as a starter, is a big reason these LA kids want to come and play at KU.
