They could be... but that would require training, and someone has to pay for that.


Not if we start instilling continuous learning and mobility into the younger generations. I've told my kids for years that they need plans B and C, and they always need to be learning from different fields than their own.

You do it and I do it and some other parents do it... but do you know of a single educational policy expert in this country making this suggestion?

Everything about our educational system - especially K-12 - is based upon thinking that applied 75 years ago. There has only been once change - now we have guidance counselors telling everyone they need to go to a four year college and get a degree. Which is not the best idea for everyone.
