I'm in the process of launching a heavy equipment manufacturer. All machines will be built by hand using components made by a mixture of automation and bespoke configurations.

There will always be some market for people who know how to build stuff that can't realistically be automated.

Mike Rowe has the best perspective on this. Read and watch his stuff.

Yep. People will always shite and drive cars. Configuring robots to fix toilets and engines isn't too close on the horizon I'd think.
