A donor can set up a scholarship for anything and if a college doesn't accept it he'll find another college that will.
The weirdest I've ever read about was the cop shooter scholarship.
It was an endowment by a rich black guy who hated cops. The money was to be awarded each year to a black guy who finished his prison time for shooting a cop.

Why is it stupid? There's scholarships just for being born every other color and gender. I'm sure there are plenty of working-class kids that would benefit.
