For starters, it will definitely be RBs as one of several primary needs, aside from true OTs. I am quite sure they will be others.

1st: RB
2nd: DL
3rd: OL
4th: WR

RB and DL will be thinnest positions in terms of returning bodies and number players requiring snaps at those positions per game

We will have 7 returning scholarship DL in 2018. If every single one pans out and we stay completely injury free that's barely a 2 deep, with a 3 man front

Number 1 imo is Corione Harris out of Landry Walker. He's a CB. Everyone has Terrace Marshall as the #1 WR, and he's fantastic. Yeah, Harris held him to 1 catch in the quarterfinals this year. He's that good.

RB (2-3), WR (3-4), and TE (2) will be the most pressing needs. Not sure how many OL we have that project as tackles, but I know that we have 4 freshman/redshirt freshman tackles. So I'd say 2-3 more next year. We need 2 ILBs, 2 DTs, a QB, and just fill depth

Most dire need for 2018 will be RBs and WRs. Good news, WR will be stupid easy - we can't NOT get 3 elite WRs - we could almost do that without leaving the state (hell, might do it without leaving the state).

Bad news: RB cupboard looks pretty sparse, but some kids mature late and there might be a late bloomer, and certainly 2 or 3 backs that could be serviceable as a committee - heaven knows Louisiana produces a few above average RBs even in a down year.

Beyond that, one almost cannot have too many players at the OT, ILB and pass rush specialists. We will also be looking at true NTs wherever we can find them. We haven't had problems getting DBs in many, many years. We should be taking 1 to 2 QBs again next year.
