re: Pics of cheap Vietnamese street food

I ate street food while in Europe (Rome, Athens, London, Paris, Amsterdam) with minor gastrointestinal distress. I know those are all first world cities (although Athens was pretty gross), was there any concern about stomach problems eating that stuff? Looks good, albeit risky.
