re: OT Electricians: Need some suggestions

If your house was constructed in the past 15 or so years, it was required to have arc fault breakers for all bedrooms. Those breakers have a second reset button on them. Usually it is a red or green square push button. Those are also a lot more sensitive to shorts, etc. Try resetting the button and see if that helps. Otherwise, the breaker needs replacing.
