re: Basketball team philosophy or identity.

I don't think a particular brand of basketball is needed but I do think we need a coach with a pulse and some personality that can engage the fans, motivate the players and create some excitement.

I'm no big fan of Pearl, I think he's a bit of a look at me guy and has some circus clown in him, but Auburn ain't winning much but he's got those folks excited, the student section full and the crowds have life. Before him Auburn's crowd was a dull and lifeless as ours.

I've never been a proponent of this before, just wanted a good coach, but at this point in our program with the extreme apathy abounding, I really do think we need young, energetic and enthusiastic as well as a good coach.
