No we don't. When is the last time a team that plays with that tempo has won a national title? Arkansas in '93?
We don't need an "exciting" brand of basketball. We need a winning brand of basketball. Wisconsin, Virginia, Mich. St. all play a bit of a "boring" style of basketball. They also win a shite load of games every year. Do you think their fans care or think it's "boring?"
LSU is one of the faster-tempo power Conf programs. They don't play boring basketball. Just dumb and inconsistent basketball

West Virginia does win. The Kentucky teams that won played up tempo. Kemba Walker and UConn. Also the last Duke team that won played an uptempo style.
It's not just uptempo. It's press defense, forcing turnovers. We played that way last time we went to the final four, if you didn't know.
