Had the same thing minus the wreck happen when my son and I were driving I-20 from DFW to Louisiana for Thanksgiving this year. Truck was weaving all the way from grass to grass on both lanes.

He finally went in the median going about 80 mph, bounced around and saved it somehow, idiot exited the next ramp.

Thought for sure my 10 yr old was going to see something terrible.

I think the red car with their flashers on might have been with the guy. He pulls up really close to the guy and then turns his flashers on. Like saying yeah this guy is smashed so we're going to be driving slow. Then he pulls over after the wreck.
