This brings up a good point that I've considered in the past. LSU is nowhere near what you would call a blueblood in basketball, but an LSU all-time greats team could stack up with just about any all-time greats team from any other school IMO.

That is well known to people that have any knowledge of college basketball. The only team that can come close is UCLA
Shaq vs Kareem
Pettit vs Walton
Chris Jackson vs Westbrook
Pistol Pete vs Reggie Miller
UCLA has more guys after that, that are really good players, but you'd be hard pressed to find a group that can beat LSU, on paper.
Pistol and Jackson have scoring averages that will never be broken. They are two of the more unattainable records in all of sports.
