What do libs expect from "deligitimizing" Trump's Presidency?

Seriously.. what do they hope to achieve? That he won't get anything done? That the GOP House and Senate will rise up against him? That his EO's will be ignored? That foreign leaders won't meet with him? Sounds to me like they are living in a state of delusion.

The goal is to either force him out of office, which they know is a long shot OR make sure he's a one term discredited POTUS.

It makes his supporters angry and it can lead to many more people not supporting him to actually question his legitimacy which is good and could lead to better election results down the road.

Same thing they get with promoting an idealist/impractical economic Ideology. Personal satisfaction in regard to doing the right (moral) thing, regardless. That is all there is in Belief; at least for now. Maybe the Parallel Universe thing will work out, and individuals will get the Universe they believe in hope for.

Watching them use a straight face and say poor Obama was blocked from doing great things is surreal.

What did conservatives expect from doing the same to Obama? I imagine the intent is to capitalize on the split popular vote and other controversies to weaken his position politically.
